Bluestem Arts is a small studio, near the Flint Hills of eastern Kansas - home of the last great Big Bluestem grass prairie. All pieces are handcrafted by the artist. You won't find any mass produced imports here. I make each item to order - if you like a piece that you see as a 14" round suncatcher, but would like it as a 48" x 24" panel, email me and we can discuss how to make that happen.

As you can tell, there are two things I am passionate about:

Devotion to Christ my saviour, and; supporting the men and women of the Armed Forces who selflessly serve and protect this great nation. 

Even if you don't agree with all of the policies of our government - those men and women are in harms way because they serve our nation. They are your sons and daughters (even if metaphorically), friends and neighbors. LOOK FOR WAYS TO BECOME INVOLVED by volunteering in troop support or in some of the organizations that make this country great: Your local Church, the American Red Cross, Citizen Corps, and Sons of the American Revolution.

 

 

Custom Design Work Available:
If you have a design, photo or drawing, I can convert it into stained glass (within reason). Email me a jpeg file with any ideas, size desired and your time frame, along with your contact information. Sorry, I do not do structural pieces such as doors and side lights.
